Remodel
This project started with the challenge of creating an open kitchen for serious cooking and entertaining in a small space. Our design replaced a wall with a multifunctional island, creating connection as well as much needed counter space. Finally, we designed and built a large deck for outdoor living and remodeled a dark corner room into a light & bright home office.
We reimagined the kitchen of this classic Elmwood Craftsman home to include a strong connection to the owner’s beloved garden. Floor to ceiling glass, custom cabinetry and a fully tiled wet bath are highlights of this project. Wide plank white oak floors incorporate radiant heat. Details from the owner’s travels and lives include a custom tile backsplash and built in seating constructed of wind felled Acacia from the property.
