We fully rebuilt this aging hilltop home into a modern sanctuary for long-term, live-at-home retirement. A single-level floor plan prioritizes accessibility and ease, while durable materials keep maintenance minimal. Giant sliders connect the main living space to a flow-through deck and stunning views. The primary bedroom opens directly onto the same indoor-outdoor expanse creating an intimate suite feel while actually providing for a much larger home. Below, a walk-out basement clad in Cor-Ten and concrete houses a workshop with future ADU potential.
We reimagined the kitchen of this classic Elmwood Craftsman home to include a strong connection to the owner’s beloved garden. Floor to ceiling glass, custom cabinetry and a fully tiled wet bath are highlights of this project. Wide plank white oak floors incorporate radiant heat. Details from the owner’s travels and lives include a custom tile backsplash and built in seating constructed of wind felled Acacia from the property.
